Eulogy of Ernest Gaucher

Ernest Gaucher first described Gaucher disease. He died in 1918.
I translated the French eulogy given by his friend and colleague Antoine Marfan.

About me

Several rare diseases had the effect that I am no longer (self-)employed, but nowadays otherwise active. For example, I enthusiastically started canoeing. I also intended to take up consultancy work under the name Guijt Advies, based on the expertise I had built up in my work. I just can’t get to it, though.
